Chef Works Frequently Asked Questions

Just sign up for an account on the website here. You’ll be automatically enrolled into our Free Tiers. If you want to enroll in an Executive Tier, you’ll need to login or sign up as a member on the website, then you’ll need to add the Ruby Tier or the Diamond Tier to your shopping cart, and checkout.

Then you are already enrolled into our Loyalty Program! Don’t forget to login before you make any purchases so you can earn Rewards Cash and take advantage of all your Loyalty Program perks.

You are automatically enrolled in our Free Tiers by registering for an account on a Chef Works website that offers the Loyalty Program (see list below):

There are two Executive Tiers. The Executive Tiers are paid, annual, auto renewal subscriptions.

• The Ruby Level costs $120 annually
• The Diamond Level costs $240 annually

Rewards Cash is virtual currency you earn on each qualified order you make on the following Chef Works websites:

• chefworks.com

You can spend your earned Rewards Cash on all future purchases. Rewards cash can only be spent on the website in which it was earned.

Rewards Cash is virtual currency and should not be considered real currency, nor can it be exchanged for real currency.

An Instant Discount is an immediate discount (i.e. percent off) applied to your order based on your current Loyalty Program Tier level. Instant Discounts are issued automatically during checkout as long as you are logged into your account.

First, register for an account on one of the websites offering the Chef Works Loyalty Program. Then sign into your website account and order! It's that easy.

Depending on your Loyalty Tier Level, you can earn at least 5% Instant Discount on your first qualifying order and 5% Rewards Cash you can apply to your second order. Your earning potential can be as high as 15% if you are a Diamond Tier (paid, annual subscription).

The higher the Loyalty Tier the higher the Rewards Cash earning potential.

When all your orders added together totals from $1 to $499 within 365 days, you will qualify for the Bronze Tier which earns 5% Rewards Cash on all eligible product purchases.

When all your orders added together exceed $500 within 365 days, then you will progress to the Silver Tier which earns 7.5% in Rewards Cash on all eligible product purchases. To maintain your Silver Tier status, you must maintain a $500 spending threshold within a 365 day rolling average. If you do not maintain the $500 threshold then you will drop down to the Bronze Tier.

When all your orders added together exceed more than $1,000 within 365 days, then you will progress to the Gold Tier which earns you 10% in Rewards Cash on all eligible product purchases. To maintain your Gold Tier status, you must maintain a $1,000 spending threshold within a 365 day rolling average. If you do not maintain the $1,000 threshold then you will drop down to Silver Tier.

You can check your Rewards Cash account balance here. Once you log in to your account, you’ll be able to see your complete transaction history (both earned and spent).

Yes, Rewards Cash expires 1 year from the day it was earned.

You can redeem Rewards Cash for almost all products on the website except for the following:

• Ruby Tier Subscription (CWLSRUB)
• Diamond Tier Subscription (CWLSDIA)
• Shoes for Crews SKU’s
• Product Bundles

Rewards Cash can only be redeemed on the website where it was earned. This means that Rewards Cash earned on one site cannot be spent on another site. Not all Chef Works websites offer the Loyalty Program. The current websites that offer the Loyalty Program are:

Rewards Cash becomes available as soon as we ship your order. This means the order must be in a “Complete” status. For example, if you place an order on Monday and we ship it Wednesday, then your Rewards Cash would be available to redeem and apply to a new order on Wednesday.

Rewards Cash is calculated based on your order subtotal minus your Instant Discount. For example, if your order subtotal is $100 and you get a 5% Instant Discount (i.e. $5.00 off), you will earn Rewards Cash on $95.

No, Rewards Cash cannot be transferred to another website account or to another person.

Yes. However, all applicable shipping and taxes will need to be paid with a valid credit card.

The Rewards Cash you spent to purchase those items will be credited back to your account after the item(s) have been returned and processed by Chef Works. You will see the Rewards Cash credit in your Transactions tab within the My Rewards area.

The Rewards Cash will be credited to your account after the canceled order has been fully processed and cancelled. You will see the Rewards Cash credit in the Transactions tab within the My Rewards area.

If you completed your account registration during the checkout process, then you won’t earn Rewards Cash on that order. You need to be a member of the website before placing a qualifying order and checking out to earn Rewards Cash.

Free Shipping applies to UPS Ground Shipping only. (Some restrictions apply - see Terms and Conditions for full details)

No, you cannot use your Rewards Cash to pay for your shipping. However, Free Ground Shipping thresholds drop on the Free Tiers and go to zero on the Executive Tiers.

No, you cannot use your Rewards Cash to pay for your taxes. You must use a valid and accepted payment method to pay for your taxes.

United States taxes are determined based on the order subtotal minus any promotional offers or discounts. Rewards cash redemption is applied after taxes are properly calculated.

Yes, your Instant Discount will stack with other website promotions unless specifically stated in the promotions terms and conditions.

The birthday field is locked because everyone only has one birthday a year and that means you already filled it in! If you accidentally set your birthday incorrectly, you will need to reach out to ecommerce@chefworks.com to fix the issue. However, we will be unable to change your birthday if you have already earned the reward.
